In 1988 Bob Johnson and Richard Payne purchased an office and warehouse facility located near downtown Dallas, Texas.  They proceeded to remodel the building and increase the occupancy from 30% to 95%. Capitalizing on this experience, other buildings were purchased, remodeled and leased. Today, the company is developing commercial land.
The company has now expanded beyond real estate into oil & gas, manufacturing, equities and financial products.
